Here you will find my favorite sites for learning and sharing art and design techniques and tips. There is a whole world of education out there at your (literal) fingertips. There are different styles of teaching, a plethora of topics and available at unique structures and price points. Here are my favorites!

Classes
Multiple classes available in varied art topics and levels. Most have costs associated with them.
Specifically for Surface Pattern Design. This is a series of comprehensive courses that covers both the techniques to create patterns as well as the business side of selling them. There is a community with each class and their add-on challenges are really inspiring!
Design Garden offers really amazing classes that are quite specific to help design art that is on trend for the current market. She often brings in other artist to share experience and some of the classes include live critique segments with the class.
Tutor Bill has some amazing and really different content in his classes. They are very affordable and are a great help to tranisition to working partially digitally in your art work.
Lilla Rogers is the Queen Bee of art classes for purposes of monetizing. She gives great industry examples and tips, guest artists and industry experts. Be prepared to work hard and be humbled. You often get to rub virtual elbows with well established artists.
If you want a great community of fellow artist, this is a place for you. They have a series of Folio Focus that sets weekly theme challenges that everyone shares online. Everyone is positive and helpful and it really helps you build a more varied portfolio.

Artists
Just a few of my favorite artists. These folks are so generous and share a lot of work, tips, and infomation online. Most teach or have tutorials available as well.
Stephanie Fitzer Coleman is constantly churning out new illustrations and shares a lot on social media. Her tips and classes are phenomenal!
Ohn Mar Win is another generous artist who shares insights and her beautiful Illustrations. She speciallizes in food illustrations and offers many classes on Skillshare.
Graphics packaging extraordinaire Lisa shares a lot of tips on creating and marketing graphics for hte download market. Another prolific creator and you'll find her podcast really interesting.

Other Inspiration
Keep your antennae up, there is inspiraton, education, and creative community everywhere. Here are few more places to take a good look around and spend some time.
Classes, classes, and more classes. While I'd say these are mostly art related classes, this is a huge resource for Adobe, tech, business, and personal growth topics too. There's a bit of everything here. An annual subscription is awesome!
Andy J. Pizza is your host for this motivational podcast that is like no other. His enthusiastic approach shares how to tap in and utilize your creative powers.
Spoonflower is the home of print-on-demand fabrics. You can upload your own designs and sell them through the site, or just look around and get inspired by all the unique prints they offer. Weekly challenges are available to test your skills as well.
